How to connect with a lead or prospect initially.
Once you have grab a prospect that you want to work with from the portal at clients.ourtechfriend.com the first thing you want to notice is the screenshot that comes with the lead that shows the last conversation between the lead specialist and the prospect. You can see what the lead specialist said to the prospect and what platform they used initially to communicate via.
First, we want to take notice if the prospect mentioned a specific way they want to be reached.
Second, we want to take notice of how the lead specialist reached out and do something similar. Reach out to your prospect via text or email first, and wait for a response.

What should I say via email?
Keep it simple and as short as possible. Here is an example you can work from“Hey, I am reaching out to see if you still need help with ___________. I can help you with ____________, (then mention how you can solve their problem in 3 sentences top).
Please let me know if you are still needing help with this and a good time we can speak further about this.”
This is a short but personal and is more likely to receive a response that you can then further introduce yourself with a foot in the door, versus introducing yourself fully initially.
What should I send via text?
A text message can be an easy foot in the door, or a reason to not answer when the number calls. Never send a template response. A short text like“[Prospects name], are you still needing help with _______________?”
is sure to prompt a response from your prospect.
